Projects>East Gallatin Delineation and Mitigation
Confluence completed wetland delineation, permitting, and successful mitigation for a private landowner on the East Gallatin River near Bozeman, MT. Mitigation included excavating uplands to intercept groundwater and transplanting native willows and sedge mats to revegetate the new wetland. In addition to wetland monitoring, Confluence developed plans to stabilize 330 feet of eroding bank to lessen property loss and sediment discharge. Using bio-engineering techniques, Confluence has successfully worked to develop plans and to implement strategies to lessen flood damage and to restore habitat.
