Projects > Mandeville Creek Relocation at Aspen Park

Confluence provided several environmental services for the Aspen Park subdivision in Bozeman, Montana. Mandeville creek flows across the property and will be relocated from a roadside ditch to a swale near the center of the subdivision. Confluence completed a wetland delineation of the existing wetlands on the property. This information was used to complete the joint permit application for the impacts of the proposed subdivision and to prepare a wetland mitigation plan. Additionally, an environmental assessment of the property was conducted.

Confluence also provided hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of the proposed relocated stream channel. Hydrologic analysis was done to estimate various return interval flood discharges for use in the hydraulic modeling. Results of the modeling were used to determine floodplain boundaries and select appropriate culvert sizes to meet City requirements and allow fish passage.
