Confluence is delighted to announce the addition of hydrologist Mark Story to our team of natural resource consultants. Mark recently finished a distinguished 38-year career as a Forest Hydrologist on 4 National Forests. He has a diverse array of expertise, including NEPA analysis and documentation, air and water quality monitoring, watershed rehabilitation, stream restoration, mine reclamation, and water rights, among others. Mark has served as the hydrologist and/or team leader for watershed rehabilitation efforts following multiple large forest fires. For the last 15-20 years he served as the chairman for the Greater Yellowstone Hydrologists working group and also as chairman for the Greater Yellowstone Clean Air Partnership. In 2008 Mark was selected for the Wagon Wheel Gap Award as the US Forest Service Hydrologist of the year.
